A 2024 Thank You

I had thought about doing a post about this past year, reflecting on the good (and bad), pointing out all the things that went well, or didn’t, for me, or talking about goals for 2025.

But since this year I achieved a life-long dream and published an actual, real book, I’m instead going to take a few lines and say Thank You!

Thanks for the celebration!

Thank you to my DH. Thanks for giving me the time to write, the time to figure out how to self-publish a book, and the encouragement to go for it. ❤️

Thanks to my kiddos 🩷💙: I can’t tell you how happy it made me when you walked around Barnes & Noble telling random people “My Mommy’s and Author! Buy her book!” (And slightly embarrassed, especially when you found The Mark of the Artist on the display Nook and started telling people to download it!)

They searched for Mommy’s book on a trip to Barnes & Noble!
Smart kiddos 😉

Thank you to my Dad and Sister: you guys know how much I loved to write, even as a kid, and encouraged me to try, and well here I am. Dad, thanks for forcing asking your coffee buddies to buy a copy ☕and for telling all your siblings 😆! And Sis, thanks for the ornament and all the help with social stuff😊!

Thank you to my friends! From the guided tour of self-publishing, to the dinners with cheers to just try it out, thank you gals! 🥂

I’m grateful for you all. 🫶

So Happy Holidays, and Happy 2025! 🥳
