Sebastian’s new love Anna has a mysterious side but is the only one who really sees his paintings and drawings for the art and the passion he puts into them. She disappears suddenly, and Sebastian leaves home for another life.

He’s joined in his journey by James, his valet and best friend, who has a few secrets he’d rather not tell Sebastian about. As well as an eccentric older man, a master of portrait painting who wants to teach Sebastian how to really use his talents.

Join them on this journey, across locations that seem familiar, but are they? And with people that you swore you’ve seen someplace before.

Will Sebastian accept his talents? And the bigger question—where does inspiration really come from?

This book has been sitting in a proverbial drawer, gathering dust, and in desperate need of an edit or two for over eight years. As with so many people, life got in the way. Sitting down to write just didn’t take the priority.

Much like Sebastian, I ran from writing. But there was no denying it, I am a writer. Eventually this writer, who cannot make a stick figure to save my life, listened to that inspiration to create an adventure out of art and see where that journey took me.
